Intro: In the prologue to the gospel of John, John introduces us to Jesus Christ. He reaches as far back as he can, to the beginning, to reveal the identity of Christ.
Proposition: You must believe in Jesus Christ because He is the eternal God, the Creator of all things visible and invisible.
1. Jesus Is Eternal (1:1a, 2a)
2. Jesus Is Distinct from the Father (1:1b, 2)
